Indigenous Relationships
TW Industrial Group Ltd. is committed to engaging respectfully with Indigenous communities in the traditional territories where we work. We have delivered projects within the traditional territories of Nations including the Tahltan Nation, member Nations of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council, the Lax Kw’alaams Band, McLeod Lake Tse’khene Nation, Wet’suwet’en Nation, and Nazko First Nation. We seek to develop mutually beneficial opportunities for First Nations participation in our planning and operations, including procurement and employment.
We recognize that meaningful engagement begins with respecting the rights of Indigenous peoples, whose legally recognized lands and traditional territories are within or near our areas of operation. We aim to engage early and often with communities to build strong relationships grounded in mutual trust, cultural respect, shared understanding of issues, transparency, inclusiveness, and collaborative problem-solving to achieve mutually satisfactory outcomes.
